ABOUT THE PARISH
The Tri Point Lutheran Parish was formed in 2010 to serve the southeastern Nebraska communities of Geneva and Ohiowa in Fillmore County and McCool Junction in York County. Its three member churches are First Evangelical Lutheran Church in McCool Junction, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Geneva, and St. John's Lutheran Church in Ohiowa.
Together as one parish, these congregations serve those throughout Fillmore and York counties. Each church continues to to hold weekly Sunday worship, but the parish comes together for mid-week Advent and Lent services, combined Holy week services, and a joint Lakeside Service in August.
Currently, Pastor Judy Nuss of Sutton and PMA Jim Germer of Crete serve all three churches of the parish in ministry. A six-member Parish Board meets every two months to oversee parish activities and policies.
